India is blessed by the almighty as major portion of the mighty Himalaya is in its territory . Himalaya has been a play ground for deities, sants and pilgrims from centuries together. Himalaya has become a playground for last about one century for adventure seekers also.
In addition Himalaya offers some great climbs of 6000 and 7000 meters of various grades.

We are specialized in organizing Climbing expeditions to these peaks. Our qualified and experienced team of Mountaineers helps in selection of peak and obtaining all necessary permissions from different agencies along with logistical and technical support.

COST INCLUSIONS:

The tentative Expedition costs include the following,

  • Accommodation in star category hotel at Manali on MAP meal plan basis.(room with dinner and breakfast only)
  • Accommodation in Kaza and Mane village at Guest house/ Home stay.
  • A variety of wholesome hygienic veg. /non veg. meals during the expedition.
  • The services of experienced and qualified Mountain Guides.
  • The services of experienced High Altitude porters (HAP’s) for assisting with load ferry and camp establishment.
  • The services of a camp coordinator / manager during the expedition.
  • Mules/porters to transport luggage and camp equipment upto base camp and back to the road head.
  • Vehicular transportation by 01 Innova for upto 5 participants (including LO if any) and for more, shared by only 04 participants in one vehicle from Manali to trek/climb road head and back, after the conclusion of the climb.
  • Cook, Kitchen helpers with all the necessary kitchen items, utensils etc and all food at base camp higher camps.
  • Camping on 2/3 sharing basis (tents, sleeping bags, and trekking mats) for base & higher camps.
  • Climbing equipments – ice axe, climbing shoes, crampons, gaiters, helmet and seat harness.
  • Ice screws, Snow stakes & other technical equipment for the fixed rope.
  • Insurance of technical staff and camp staff.
  • Oxygen cylinders & other apparatus till base camp.
  • Medical / first aid kit, till base & higher camp.

 

COST EXCLUSIONS:

The Expedition costs exclude the following,

  • IMF climbing and Liaison officer fee.
  • Transportation to reach Manali and back to your destination
  • Any expenses of a personal nature.
  • Any accidental, emergency, travel or medical insurance for the climbing party.

*** It is strongly recommended that the expedition members to get themselves comprehensively insured before the expedition.

  • Any and all rescue evacuation charges (medical emergency or otherwise), or hospitalization or physicians consultation charges.
  • Beverages or drinks of any sort, including soft drinks, alcoholic / non-alcoholic drinks or bottled / mineral water.
  • Any charges incurred for accommodation/meals/ transportation or any other services procured by the participant, if he/she returns early due to any emergency or like to be borne by himself/herself.
  • Any other services not specifically mentioned in the service inclusions.
  • Any charges to visit monument/ heritage buildings and photography/camera charges/batteries.
  • Personal clothing such as: inner thermals, wind proof pants & coats, feather jacket, woolen cap, woolen hand gloves, water proof mittens, UV rays goggles and rucksack.
  • Any personal climbing gear or equipment, unless specified otherwise. It can be arranged on hire basis.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Those who are on special medication should bring their own necessary medicines. People having Asthma, Blood Pressure, Heart problems or any high altitude ailments are advised not to participate.
  • The programme schedule can be changed due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances.


***NOTE: If expedition ends before the scheduled dates the cost quoted will remain the same.

How to Reach

Up North base camp is located at Ghurdor near the heritage village Naggar (23 km short of Manali on left bank).

By Air:
The Kullu- Manali Airport at Bhuntar is approximately 30 Kms. from the Up North base camp.

By Road:
The distance from Delhi to Naggar is around 540 Kms. There are overnight buses (semi deluxe, deluxe, air-conditioned and Volvo) from Delhi to Manali. You can de-board the bus at Patlikuhal from where you can get number of taxis or regular route buses.

By Train:
The nearest railway station which is well connected is Chandigarh/Ambala is approximately 8/9 hours drive.

Policy

(Cancellation request will only be accepted by email)

  • In case request for cancellation is received before 30 clear days or more in advance before the scheduled date of reporting, 80% of the advance taken will be refunded.
  • If the request for cancellation is received between 15 to 29 days, 50% of advance taken will be refunded.
  • No refund will be given, if the cancellation intimation is received less than 15 days before the reporting date.
